Teppinek XXXI - Broken Down Again
The group approached the next block where they needed to turn right. As they cleared the corner they could see all the buildings on the street were without doors or windows for several blocks.
The sun was beginning to set, and the street lights were starting to come on. As street lights twitched on, the low, ominous hum of electricity warmed the air. Light poles not only were decorated with gold chains, but along the length of most of them there had been neon running lights installed along the sides, providing that little extra un-needed glow.
The group continued travelling down the street, avoiding broken beer bottles while remaining focused on a window several blocks down where they could make out a faint light.
Jeffie motioned to the window with his hand, "Down there, hurry," and the group began to run.
About a block from the window, a woman jumped out in front of the group from behind a dumpster, handed them each four small coins covered with fur, then somehow dissapeared.
